I have been using the ODBCDLL on SQL 7.0 and it appears to work well. Only
complexity so far was changing the user that all the IMail services log on
as to a specific account which can also access the SQL database. Also I saw
a recommendation in the FAQ that you supply the database name in the data
source name configuration. So,
dns;USR=username;PWD=password;DB=databasename.
