Greetings, all.

I am trying to integrate IMail 5.08 with Platypus 2.9, build 525. In comparing the
default ODBC table structures used by Imail with those used by Platypus, I see the
following "dilemma":

Platypus does not accommodate FULLNAME, nor does it store USERDIR. It seems to me
that these are important fields; does IMail need this information added to Platypus'
table structure, or is it unnecessary?

Also, the new Platypus-rovided ODBC connector (v. 1.2) allegedly supports multiple
IMail domains. Our server is currently hosting multiple domains (each w/ own IP
address), and if IMail and Platypus can handle it, we'd like to move all our domain
users into Platypus' single table structure. What problems might IMail have
authenticating users under this approach?

Currently, we ODBC-connect IMail to SQL 6.5, using a single ImailsecDB database, and
individual tables for each domain within the database. If all users/domains are in a
single table, will I need to develop a "SELECT username FROM email_data WHERE domain =
%some imail-variable%" rpc query? If so, how/where should this modification be
implemented within the IMail configuration?

Any further advice you can offer will be greatly appreciated. It seems this can't be
THAT hard, but we're struggling with it nonetheless.

Thanks -
