FaxWare from Tobit http://www.tobit.com 800-GO-TOBIT is an excellent fax
server that works with both NetWare and NT.

If you want a fax server that provides some sort of email-to-fax
functionality, you'll have trouble. Most fax servers of that type need
to be e-mail servers (or more accurately, SMTP servers), so that they
can receive mail & send it as a fax. This means that iMail has to leave
room for the fax server to work. Unfortunately, when it starts up,
iMail grabs control of the the SMTP portion of all the availble Ip
addresses in the server; the fax server would lose out.
There is a product called FaxMaker from GFI (http://www.gfifax.com) that
will read the mail to be faxed from a POP3 mail box instead. This would
probably work just fine in the same box as iMail. There are two
'howevers' -- GFIFax makes the fax by using the original application to
'print' the attached files to a fax format; this means CPU overhead, and
you hanve to install whatever apps you need on the server. Secondly,
whe we were testing GFI, I couldn't get it to reliably render the
attachments. Way too often, it would only send the cover page, not the
document. YMMV.
We settled on a small dedicated box running NetSatisFAXtion, and have
been _very_ pleased with it.
