Nor are we yet there, but the plan is to swap a new server in for our
current IMail server (also the PDC, Primary DNS and WINS), and add a second
processor and extra memory to the old one to use as an http/virus scanner
and RADIUS server just behind the firewall. We bought the Trend OfficeScan
suite, and have installed the server components and client pieces. After a
rough beginning tweaking rights and access just right, we got it going on
the third try. Once it's in, though, it works like a champ. The antivirus
server gets updates once a week, and propagates them to the clients and
other servers on schedule or at login. That would be enough, except we've
got a batch of Macs which aren't yet covered by the system. The only
drawback to the internet piece is it needs to intercept email and pass it
along to the IMail server after scanning, so it would probably be a real
bear to set it up on the same server...

We're not there yet... but for macro viruses, we are using the rule based
filtering that's built in so that we can capture those emails before they
get anywhere along with the spam.
