Michael,
I'd say that you new router is blocking something that was passed by your
dialup modem. I'd guess it was port 25 is being allowed outbound, but not
inbound. Or the IP(s) you are using for IMail is not allowed the outbound
connection. Or you are not getting access to DNS so IMail does not get data
needed to make the connection.
The error, 10054 is a winsock error and means 'connection reset by peer' (the
remote end disconnected). I've tried to telnet to port 25 on the IPs below,
but so far have been unsuccesful to the first, the second is OK, 3rd
failed.
If you start the telnet program, give it the hostname of imail.ipswitch.com,
and port = 25, you should be able to connect to our mail server. If not, use
PING to see if that works by name, then IP (156.21.1.5), if name fails. If
name fails, but IP works, then you may have DNS problems.
If PING works by name and IP, but telnet does not, then I would say my
conclusion, above, was correct.
PS - the log portion you show looks like the IMonitor program checking
services.
