Found it. From the v5.03 section of the release notes. We
added address binding in 5.0 so that mail would be coming
from the correct virtual host--to get along with servers
that deny receipt based on PTR records. Unfortunatly it
caused problems with firewalls/proxies. So, we added this:
- Added Registry entry to to turn of address binding in
SMTP deliver process. Address binding is On by default--
causes messages to be delivered from the IP address
assigned to the virtual host--to turn it off create
the value (REG_DWORD) "BindToIP" in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ipswitch\IMail\Global and
give a value of 0 (zero).
