Hello all, First time on the list: In lieu of the number of new malicious Virus & Worm attachments that are being propagated throughout the network, I was curious if any of the various virus protection packages could be used to filter/clean inbound infected emails on the IMail server before they get sent to the clients? I have updated virus protection on my local PCs, but I don't want infected mail messages getting that far. I'm on NT 4.0 with a 5.x?+ version of Imail. I'm willing to take a slight performance hit to filter any inbound/outbound infected emails. Has anyone successfully installed virus software on there server to do this? What type? How can you tell it is working? Does it do automatic updates? I would appreciate any help or suggestions.
