I'm don't quite understand. You're saying I should give ALL the users IMail
accounts under domain.com, then set the alias for the exchange users to
exchange.domain.com? Will that forward their mail to the Exchange server? Or
am I missing a step?
Thanks - Dave

Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] Two mail servers
Dave,
Although one would not normally use 2 mail servers for a single
domain, with a bit of work, it can be done. If we assume IMail is to
be the main machine and all mail will pass through it to the local
users or to the Exchange users, then you would create the domain in
IMail, add the mass of users who will have IMail accounts. For those
on the Exchange machine, you will need to create an alias for each
one and set the address to [EMAIL PROTECTED], where
exchange.domain.com is the full machine.domain.com name of the
Exchange host. I would make sure that only mail addressed in that
form is acceptable to Exchange. With that, users local to Exchange,
could use the long form to send within Exchange and the short form
to send to any user.
