After installing Imail 6.01 I (ALSO) noticed:

when, using the web-based-messaging (doesn't mather if one uses the old
templates or the new ones that come with 6.0x), one has a look at the
system log (using the "View Imail System Log" URL), the system log shown in
the browser is NOT complete !
Results vary, but it is NEVER complete.

It has nothing to do with slow connections etc. When I try from in the
network (not dial-up) the result is the same: no complete system.log.

When I FTP to the server and view the syslog.txt everything is there.

I realy hope someone at Ipswitch is reading this too.

I hate to send these "findings" to them. They must think I'm a very
annoying person.

I AM, when "not so cheap" software with "bugs and mistakes" is concerned...

P.S.
Also I read someone told me "to write my own Imail Administrator"... ;-)

If this was a piece of freeware (source included) I wouldn't mind to have a
try, and perhaps I would indeed succeed in making it better.

But when I would and could write my own, I would. It's because we do not
have the time/knowledge we PAY people to write it for us.

But this is a $1500 product. I presume one can expect it has been tested
and someone had a look at it BEFORE it was released, no ?

When a simple and humble person like me finds about 15 or 20 "little
annoying things" or even bugs in a $1500 product that has been released,
and this took me about 30 minutes... I wonder how much time "they" (the
quality control? The project-supervisors?) spend to have a quick look at
things ????
