LOG FILE DELETING
Thanks for the information about the log files.
Just FYI the manual (the one you sent me) at command line applications
discusses SPLCLN.EXEI. (I thought the I was a typo - and it must be but I
didn't figure out to put it at the front) After your email I looked again
page by page just to see if I had missed the reference. On page 220 the
title of the page is SPLCLN.EXE but a closer inspection does reveal
information about ISPLCLN.EXE. I haven't checked the online version of the
manual so maybe it is changed. That certainly saves me having to write the
wsh program but even so it would be nice if it were included in the admin
applet.
COMMENT LINES in Rules.ima
I did a few tests and it appears to me that the parser ignores any lines not
beginning with F,S,N,T,H,B. If it finds one of those symbols it parses up
to a : I think. So # or anything else works for a comment. Thanks for
prompting me to go ahead and test it.

Terry,
There is a command line utility in IMail 5.0x or later to clean the
spool directory, something like imsplcln.exe (spelling may not be
right, not at a place where I have access to the manual at the moment).
As for REM in Rules, not sure about ever seeing this, but often '#'
is used and it would not suprise me at all if IMail conforms to this
standard.
