Sounds like the pop daemon bug -- word is to backtrack to the 5.08 pop32 dll
until 6.0 is fixed. You can mix all the other files from 6.0 with this one
from 5.08. Check w/Ipswitch for the correct file--I'm working from memory
and not experience...

I've been running 5.08 for weeks with no problems. Last evening, I installed
6.0 and the 6.01 patch and immediately began to receive requests for help
from system users. They were not able to retrieve mail messages, although
there was indications of mail waiting for them while letting them also see
the "Subject" of the waiting messages. This continued through the night, so
this morning I reinstalled 5.08 and all is well again.
Let's wait a little longer for another patch or two.
