I'm having a wierd problem with uuencoded attachments.

When I send a message from Microsoft Exchange to Imail and that message contains
attachments (word & excel files usually), attachments wont open in web messaging.

Following things happens:
1. In summary screen message wont show attach picture. Like it was'nt there.
2. In message read screen contains following information:
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The following binary file has been uuencoded to ensure successful
transmission. Use UUDECODE to extract.
IPOSOITE.XLS (Binary attachment)
-----------------------------------------------------------------
When i click that link, browser open it in same window and it is quite mess... like
this: %#%SS"!#%/))=)=)""tMX?{m=
This happens in Netscape 4.x to 4.7 version and also IE 4.x -> 5.x version.

3. When selecting (in netscape) mouse right click and "save this link as" and
accepting saving location and then OK, all seems to work fine, but then when I open
Word or Excel and try to open that file I just saved, it is CORRUPTED! totally
unusuable.

If I do this samething in IE 4 or IE 5 and then open that file, it is OK.

Is this problem related on IMail capability to handle uuencoded attachments, or is
this only Netscape problem or both??

I wouldnt want to upgrade all our clients to IE 4x because of this.

Tnx.
