I have a user who uses a Blackberry. Outlook connects via POP3 and leaves messages on the server for 10 days.

This morning her Outlook showed no messages between Friday morning and this morning. I looked at her mailbox on the server and there is indeed a gap between 8-5 0755 and 8-8 0838, 47 messages after and 86 before.

The blackberry retrieved messages from the server during that period; the logs show it.

The log for pop3 shows messages being read but not deleted by Blackberry and messages being read and deleted by Outlook.

This morning Outlook deleted 189 messages during the first connection via pop3, then read 184 messages during the second connection. I think I've read the log correctly.

Can anyone offer an explanation or a test to find why this is happening?
