Hi Eric: Thanks for you suggesting that registry hack of first creating a domain and then using RedEdit to switch various palaces to 127.0.0.1. I've played with the Imail internals before and that certainly is an option to get around this design flaw.
Your work-around confirms what I had already stated. When adding the (very desirable feature) to limit Imail to the assigned IPs someone forgot to update the GUI so that a customer can EASILY add support for 127.0.0.1. Any attempt to create a virtual host for "localhost" or "127.0.0.1" using official Imail tools fails. The GUI needs to be fixed.
