I know, that yes -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of S.J.Stanaitis Sent: Saturday, August 20, 2005 6:41 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [IMail Forum] Holy crap... Dealt with 2 specific DOS attacks against my email server this week. The first occured Wed/Thurs morning where someone had sent out an unknown number of emails to Yahoo, each email had 2 2.5mb images attached. A few Yahoo servers completely obliterated my T1 with the undeliverable messages which included the original message. Now the email we use for our domain contact was SLAMMED with over 30K and rising emails which are errors related to an email titled 'test2' with a text area that says "Do u receive this message, dude ? I know, that yes." Now I've got all these cranky spammed people telling me to stop when the messages didn't even originate on my servers. Anyone ever experience something like this before? Any suggestions on dealing with it?
