Jason,
Great news. Thanks for letting us know. Along with many other people
on this forum I'm sure, I was wondering if current Imail Server
(stand-alone) owners will have to upgrade to ICS 2006 in order to
utilize the new webmail features.
Thanks.
Kevin

Hello,
Ipswitch is hard at work on Ipswitch Collaboration Suite 2006. As an important part of our development process, the Ipswitch Messaging Product Team would like to invite you to participate in the upcoming ICS 2006 Beta Program. Beta Program participants will preview ICS 2006 Beta software and have the opportunity to provide Ipswitch with invaluable feedback as we continue work on this important release.
We are currently seeking users who have an active interest in utilizing the new features and enhancements listed below AND who are willing to give detailed feedback, participate in discussions, etc.
Beta Nomination Process
o We will review all requests to participate in the ICS Beta Program and select
those users whom we feel are the best candidates for this Beta Program.
o Once selected, you will receive an e-mail which will contain additional
information regarding the ICS Beta Program, access to a private web forum, and
instructions on defect reporting.
o Please be aware that we are seeking a limited number of Beta testers. If you find that your application is rejected, this will in no way mean that we feel you are not up to the task, it will only mean that Beta applications have been heavily over subscribed. Indeed we will keep a record of your application, and may contact you in the future.
ICS Beta Information
o We anticipate that the ICS 2006 Beta will be available for download sometime
in late August.
o We are targeting the Q4 2005 for the ICS 2006 release.
o All Beta builds will be distributed electronically via FTP.
o Ipswitch expects that beta participants will regularly test builds provided,
and report issues via the Beta Web Forum.
The major new features in Ipswitch Collaboration Suite 2006 will be the new web-based e-mail client and web-based administration interface. These include:
o New Web-based E-mail Client
o Completely redesigned user interface
o Rich-text e-mail composition
o Broad browser and language compatibility
o New Web-based Administration Interface
o Administer settings for all ICS components from a single interface
o Secure remote access
o Uses IIS with .NET framework
If you are interested in participating, please complete the Beta Application
