Sorry, no fix found. I searched with Google and found many requests for help but no solution that worked for me.

After cold boot, look for event id 5000.

I had this error appear on a W2K SP4 server box in May and June. I ended up replacing/decommissioning it. Fortunately, VNC doesn't depend on Windows authentication.

Windows 2000 server with Citrix PS4 ... getting this error on login.

System can not log you on due to the following error:
The network request is not supported.

Fixed by hard reboot for a day or two ... when I get the error can't login
local or RDP or Citrix (either the domain or local server) without this
error coming up.
