Hi all, Occasionally LDAP has stopped working or the service is
taking up 100% CPU on our Imail 8.20 server, and after talking with Ipswitch
each time I end up having to initialise the LDAP database. This always seems to
fix the problem. However, whenever I do this all of the Additional Information
that has been entered for all email accounts is lost. When a new email account
is created I like to enter the user’s details, such as address of their
office (we have over 150 offices), department, phone number, etc. But when the
LDAP database is re-initialised all this information is lost. Does anyone know of a way to ensure that this information is
never lost? I would have thought a good way for Ipswitch to do this would be to
store the information in the registry along with the account information? Thanks, Chris Jones Rural Press Limited |
