and this didn't happen with the search/replace with a replace all on the
exported .reg file?

Why not do a global replace on the old server of virtual0 > virtual9 and
then import it.. Unless you think you have more that 899 virtuals on the
receiving machine this should work for you
Thanks, Eric. Everything worked beautiful. I just got done merging the
two IMail servers into one.
I also noticed I had to do one more step after renaming the virtual
key. That was to change the key value for the 'Address' key within the
domain itself.
