I have a similar problem. Treo 650 through Sprint using VersaMail, but we connect directly via POP to our IMail server. IMAP never worked at all for us. But after deleting on the Treo it wouldn't delete from our server and the next time you went to get new messages that same msg would pop back up.
I'm sure you already went through the settings on the device and told it to also delete from the server? The only solution I've found is to delete the VersaMail account, and recreate it on the device. The only problem with this is that I have to do it once every week or two. The bigger issue is that its the CEOs Treo.... Sprint says that because we're not connecting to a Sprint server they can't do anythinga bout it. Palm wont support any devices on the Sprint network, and I've ran every update and upgrade on the device possible. But its the only solution to our problem and we're kind of stuck.
