Could possibly be connection filtering, under antispam, if it is turned on. We had this same problem with several domains that were not waiting the appropriate ammount of time for the acknowledgment from our server. Turning this off and relying soley on the Premium AntiSpam in Imail 8.21 seemingly fixed this for us.

 

Altrenativly it could potetentially be the email client that they are using, can you verify multiples on the server?
