It is one of our goals to support the MAC clients (safari and firefox), but I can't promise that we will on the first release. During development we are testing with MAC clients and have discovered some issues that will need to be addressed in a future release.

Now if only Ipswitch would reconsider and allow a separate standalone version of IMail that could run that new interface without having to run the bloated ICS.
