Hi Lee. Im also using Imail 8.15 and Mxguard with ClamAv
Im getting lots of emails marked as virus, even if they are text-only
messages.
The mxguard-virus log file says virus="" (so, no virus name)
I have contacted mxguard but they cannot provide me with a solution.
Can you send me your mxguard.ini configuration so I can check whats the
problem with mine ?
The ClamAv issue is due to a new error code being returned by ClamAV. The
immediate workaround is to use the UserDefinedAV option instead of the
ClamAV option. This is what we recommended to you last week.
We have modified the built-in support for Clam to account for this change
and will be releasing a new mxGuard (free upgrade) later this weekend. All
registered users will be notified via email when it is available.
