Those instructions are showing their age. As John mentions, it is reckless to use a "dumb" HOSTS-file store-and-forward server that does not have a replica of your recipient list to defend against dictionary attacks. My ldap2aliases and exchange2aliases scripts (see my sig) are designed for use on an IMail server with actual virtual hosts defined for store-and-forward domains, which is the only way that you can be protected against dictionary attacks. Deleting the virtuals and relying on dumb HOSTS-file routing is an archaic method. > If I were to just delete the primary would the first virtual take > over as the primary?
