I did some looking around on AOL's postmaster website. If you are sending out a high volume of solicited email (minimum of 100 per month to AOL) you can opt into their Dynamic Sender Status list. It's basically a dynamic white list so even if one of your users marks your bulk e-mail as Spam you will not get black listed.
Looks like it would be worth looking into if you run an e-mail list with a decent number of AOL addresses included. http://postmaster.info.aol.com/tools/dynamic_guidelines.html. Christopher - We also run opt-in lists and had the same thing happen about a month ago. I went out to the link given before (http://postmaster.info.aol.com/contact/), filled out the information, and explained what the deal was. We were back up and goin within 48-72 hours. I thought it would be much more painful, but things worked in my favor for a change! Thanks ... we run to opt-in list for our agents in the field, but some of them use AOL addresses (go figure) ... will have to try and get white listed. Christopher Checca Packard Transport, Inc.
