If I understand what you're asking you need to change the IP that IMail is bound to in the registry. HKLM\Software\Ipswitch\IMail\Domains  rename the old IP to the new on and then change the address the Official host name points to

Subject: [IMail Forum] Please help: So strange case, imail holds old IP for a host.

Dear all,

We install ICS 2.0 in a Windows server 2003 DC with DNS service, the DC’s IP is 172.29.0.1

The primary DNS is itself, 172.29.0.1.

We established several VPN tunnels with other sites in different countries, in DNS service we

Created corresponding zones for these sites, including MX etc.

Every site has its own mail server.

For Site A, its IP is 172.28.0.1; imail uses this IP to send email, and works fine.

Recently Site A changed the IP 172.28.0.2, we made adjustments in our DNS and restarted server.

When I checked imail log and found it used previous IP not the changed on.

I restarted DNS and ran the command ipconfig /flushdns, also clear the DNS cahce of Queue manager

Of imail, the problem remains as before?

Is there is other settings about this?

Thanks in advance.

BR/Jobs
