Hello Martin,

Is it possible to quantify the levels of usage for cpu, memory, that you
were seeing with IMail 8.2x accompanied with rough numbers on total domains,
users, inbound/outbound traffic (emails, bytes)? As you can imagine, there
are many variable in play at h/w, application, network, internet, etc.

We just completed a 2+ month beta and have not heard of performance issues.
This it not to say, and it's hard to really cover all environs, that in all
conditions and under heavy load IMail will not use up system resources, but
there's nothing that I'm specifically aware of.

For what it's worth, we have been running IMail 2006 for the past 2+ weeks
and have not experienced performance issues.

bye for now,

kg

Subject: [IMail Forum] IMAP with 2006

Hi,

IMap on IMail 8.x needs a lot of system resources, eg. cpu power. This is
the reason why a lot of my customers switched of the service.

Is this solved with IMail 2006?

thanks
