Hello Martin, Is it possible to quantify the levels of usage for cpu, memory, that you were seeing with IMail 8.2x accompanied with rough numbers on total domains, users, inbound/outbound traffic (emails, bytes)? As you can imagine, there are many variable in play at h/w, application, network, internet, etc.
We just completed a 2+ month beta and have not heard of performance issues. This it not to say, and it's hard to really cover all environs, that in all conditions and under heavy load IMail will not use up system resources, but there's nothing that I'm specifically aware of. For what it's worth, we have been running IMail 2006 for the past 2+ weeks and have not experienced performance issues. bye for now, kg -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Martin Schaible Sent: Thursday, November 17, 2005 12:15 PM To: IMail Forum Subject: [IMail Forum] IMAP with 2006 Hi, IMap on IMail 8.x needs a lot of system resources, eg. cpu power. This is the reason why a lot of my customers switched of the service. Is this solved with IMail 2006? thanks -- Mit freundlichen GrĂ¼ssen -------------------------------------------- Merlin Consulting Martin Schaible Bahnhofstrasse 27 CH-8702 Zollikon Phone: +41 44 391 30 00 Fax: +41 44 391 32 49 Mail: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] URL: http://www.merlinconsulting.ch Support: http://support.merlinconsulting.ch GPS: N47 20.235 E8 34.226 -------------------------------------------- News - Neue Produkte: .:.
