Hi Mike,

Yes, absolutely.

Our premium antispam provider is Mail-Filters - http://www.mail-filters.com/

This was the biggest feature we added (and sorely needed) to our messaging
line this year. The first requirement we had while looking for a partner,
was that it had to be a solution we (ipswitch) could use and amongst other
requirements, we had quality (effectiveness), performance and usability as 3
major requirements. For those not using the new antispam, it's a
subscription that provides incremental updates as frequently as every 10
minutes, 24x7x365. The configuration is a single checkbox to turn it on,
much easier that before.

This is what we (ipswitch) use as well. Our CEO, Roger, insists (rather
requires) that we use all of our own products (imail, instant messaging,
whatsup professional, ws_ftp pro, ws_ftp server, etc.) AND our own
partners/vendors that we include in our products (symantec, mail-filters,
workgroupShare).

Yes, Symantec is the AV provider.

bye for now,

kg

Subject: [IMail Forum] Premium Anti Spam

I have a customer wanting to know more specifics of what company provides
the premium anti spam filtering for IPSwitch, they asked it it was MAPS. I
assume Symantec does the AV still.

Mike
