When you delete mail, the messages are not immediately removed from your mailbox. When the "wasted space" gets above the threshold (default is 10%) then those messages will be purged from the mailbox.

Ok, Found that. Seen Status U and R, I'm assuming Unread and Read.

But..... here is where it get's funny. I'm also seeing mails which I have deleted, using IMAP delete, permanent, still in the *.MBX file. When I delete a mail using IMap, but not permamently that status does not change.
Seems there is something funny going on. Any idea?

p.s. Using IMail 8.21
