Len,

*** Why won't the registry support more than 15 k users??? I've heard of
an IMail system (using the IMail DB) with 180K users! When I've asked
admins with 30-50K users what the size of the registry was, the answer
was only slightly larger than it was initially (maybe increased by less
than 1 meg). NT shows a limit of something like 12 meg and a simple
registry is like 3 meg. I bet you could get 500K users in the registry
without any trouble (except, maybe, the time to read and update it!!).

Note, that I am not saying that using the IMail DB is 'better' than an
external (that would depend on the needs of the Admin), only that I do
not know of any reason the registry could not be used to support large
number of users. True, about 200k users is the largest system I have
heard about, so going to 500k in a single system is theoretically
possible, but unexplored territory, in my experience.
