Is Outlook adding this or is Norton or McAfee.
My experience is it’s Norton doing this. Check the configuration
and maybe even disable the Av and then try again. Once you know what’s
causing the problem, you can troubleshoot it. Travis From:

profiles one running exchange and the other normal Imail POP3. When I try to
send a mail using POP3 the outlook by itself adds “SMTP:” to the
message and it justs sits in the mail box. How can I remove this…{the
test message works fine } Any suggestion will be very helpful as this is my CEO
