The product never really sucked. But I read enough to know it's not how
I ran my software company.
And I was weary about Windows XP activation until MS said if the
activation server couldn't be located the software would self register,
whatever that means.
But the upgrade train sucks. I do have upgrade issues, I had issues
because clamscan - the free virus scanner - needed to be upgraded, but
otherwise lazyness tends to lead to octal core quad Xeon servers with
100GB of RAM and 500TB of storage. It's not like Google isn't there to
help you with the issue of the day (for free!!!).
I bought IMail because it was one of five products for Windows Server
3.51 which saved my ass in 1995. But today the field is much broader
and the level on entry is much lower.
