The list format has not changed in 2006.  We know of a bug that is causing the admin not to update certain lists. You'll know you're hitting the issue if you click on "list users" and nothing shows up on the page for users, but when you click on "view users" at the bottom there are users on the list.  At that point the admin probably won't allow you to save the file because w3svc has it locked up.
 
We have this fixed for a .01 release coming soon.

I do really like the improvements for list mgt in 2006 but I sure wish they would work. I'm having to manually update lists for clients since iadmin can't seem to update them.

What is the proper format for 2006 lists?
