Anyone
found any cool new listserv features in IMail 6 (.02) that are much different
from 5.09?
Yeah - you can put
a rules.ima file in any list
directory.
That means you
can filter for stuff in a list that you wouldn't want to filter for a
domain.
For instance, "Fw:"
or "Fwd: in the subject is going straight to the bit bucket on my
lists.
The authorized
poster list is also cool. On one of my lists I used to have to put everyone who
was not authorized on the Killfile.
Now I can just put
them on the posters list.

There are a couple "cool" new features in 6.x
from 5.x, but nothing really substantial. Can't point you to any
archives because I don't think there are any, but I can encapsulate all the
criticism the listserv has received in the past year or so...----->much too
basic for large list farms. We have been waiting very patiently for some
serious upgrades to hit the street and I think we have a very good chance of a
very serious listserv upgrade in the near future. I know that those
folks over at IPSwitch have heard our complaints and criticisms and I know
they work very hard at going the extra mile to keep us all
happy.
I've very sure they will not dissapoint
us on this either.

for this list's archive? We're investigating using IMail's
listserv features and I want to read up on all of the stuff that's been said
