First, check out simpleDNS (jhsoft.com) - they have an 'auto' SPF
response if a given domain doesn't have one. Very handy.
Second, we find that SPF records are causing more tech support
issues. We didn't realize how many of our clients aren't using our
mailserver, and we have a hard time accounting for all the other SMTP
servers. That, and the SPF framework doesn't have a smooth way of
handling authorized relays.
SPF, great for big companies, bad for little ones.
