Hi Hideki,

Yes, we are working on the double byte version of IMail 2006 Web Messaging.
We have started work on the language packs and are looking to make available
in q1 with a mini beta scheduled to start in the next 30 days.

The Japanese version will be primarily distributed by our Japanese
distributor, KGT, probably in Q2.

Hope this helps.

Bye for now,

kg

Subject: [IMail Forum] IMail 2006 Web Interface (Double Byte Character)

Hi all,

I am testing a new Imail 2006 and so far I am disappointed. By the way I
use VMWare Workstation to test it and works great.

I have been using since IMail 6 and now 8.15 with Killer Web Mail and they
worked OK for me.

My problem is that email messages created under Web Mail with Japanese
language is illegible for both subject and body.
I am assuming anybody using double byte character is in same situation. Am
I correct? I have requested for a support but so far no reply.

I tried MailBee WebMail. It was OK but IMAP folder name is not supported
for double byte character. They said it will be supported in future version
but I don't know when.

So, my question is that does anyone know if there is any Web interface which
supports double byte character without a problem?

Thanks in advance.

Hideki
