Additional information: Regedit has a tendency to fill in blank fields
with the data from the previous field during the re-import. It is highly
inconsistent but I have seen it enough to recognize what the cause was

Nate,
Anytime I see something not quite right in the registry, I
wonder.... Is something (someone?) corrupting it? Is it going
bad? Unfortunately I don't have any particular recommendations,
except make sure you have a recent backup and keep an eye on
things!
Glad to help!

Looks like that did it. In looking at the registry the string
20030507-2207
is actually the install date as well. I'm not sure how that ended
up also as
the DefHost, but changing the Default Host from the Imail Admin
GUI fixed
the issue.
Thanks for your help Dan.

Nate,
Well, that key is for the setting found in IMail Admin >
Localhost folder > General tab >Default Host. Do you see the same
information there? Can you change it to localhost? If not, then
you can try changing the value in regedit to localhost.
Does having it set to localhost help? Try restarting all IMail
services and test again, if needed.

We have Imail version 8.04 with a couple of hundred virtual
domains.
With one particular virtual domain, all messages get forwarded
to:
@20030507-2207
This happens to be the value of DefHost in the
HKLM\SOFTWARE\IPSWITCH\IMAIL\GLOBAL
Has anyone ever seen such craziness?
Thanks in advance for any insight.
