This may be off topic but it also relates to Imail.
I'm always on the look out for Microsoft alternatives related to client apps such as browsers and email clients.  Reason #1: usually I get very unusual results.  The drawback to going non-MS is that most of the app developers base their web and email apps on MS apps.  one example is cisco forces you to use IE to manage their Call manager which has an admin web interface, you can't use Firefox.

I switched to Outlook 2003 a week or so ago and it is indeed very different from the previous one that I was used to.  GUI is attractive but a little noisy, more features, rules, filters, blahblahblah.  After I installed the first patch, I noticed a new feature: Junk E-mail.  Beautiful;  the default settings was getting alarms from my whatsup and I said cool.  but after a few days later, I heard screaming users saying that they couldn't send messages because the server ran out of space.  What?, my server w/over 100Gb free disk got full overnight?  It checked mailboxes sizes and the problem was a nice and beautiful folder named junk e-mail under my account that grew to 109Gb!

Has anyone had this experience?  Also, I started using a TREO's versamail which somehow duplicated all of my mail stored on the server (I have an IMAP acct).

I like to use Outlook just because it's an integrated program w/email and calendar but are there any options besides MS that can take advantage of imail's email and calendar facilities?  I read something about Mulberry, how about thunderbird?  or am I out of luck?  I haven't found a good solution yet.
