My domain uses SQL as the user database. After the
update to IMail 2006 my users get, invalid username/password when they try to
login to Web Messaging or Web Admin (IMail Server Administration). Answer/Solution:
When you configure a DSN to SQL it defaults to,
Connect with Named Pipes. Most of
the IMail services will work with that setting, however Web Messaging and Web
Administrator will not work. You need to go into the DSN and change the
connection type to, TCP/IP. Then the web interfaces will work. Travis From:

external creation of db's for domain authentication. I get weird errors about
