Hi Robert, Yes, that's the clear message we're hearing - we are working to nail down the IIS support first before expanding to Apache.
btw, we are working on publishing an updated security/permissions model specifically for users who do not want to use IUSR with Full permissions. we plan to run by a few expert users before officially publishing. bye for now, kg -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Robert E. It is not extreme to require both Windows and IIS. Many other web apps we use have the same requirements. OTOH - Throwing Apache into the mix, especially with a .NET app (are you planning to re-write the app in PHP and MySql to be fully "native" LAMP - I think not!), is simply mixing things up worse. "Jack-of-all-trades, expert of none" may be an old adage, but it sure applies here. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Don Brown Sent: Thursday, January 05, 2006 7:16 AM To: Kevin Gillis Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] Status of IMail 2006.02... You need to take a poll. IIS is preferred here. Thursday, January 5, 2006, 8:49:54 AM, Kevin Gillis <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: KG> Hi Oblio, KG> We are planning to add support for Apache.
