Yes, that's the clear message we're hearing - we are working to nail down
the IIS support first before expanding to Apache.

btw, we are working on publishing an updated security/permissions model
specifically for users who do not want to use IUSR with Full permissions.
we plan to run by a few expert users before officially publishing.

Support only IIS - but do it well.

Running a Windows Server implies IIS.  It is not extreme to require both
Windows and IIS.  Many other web apps we use have the same requirements.

OTOH - Throwing Apache into the mix, especially with a .NET app (are you
planning to re-write the app in PHP and MySql to be fully "native" LAMP - I
think not!), is simply mixing things up worse.

"Jack-of-all-trades, expert of none" may be an old adage, but it sure
applies here.
