Is this just with SMTP-AUTH in Imail 2006?

I asked the list a while ago about this and didn't hear anything back, but
we ran into problems with Kayako Live Response accessing a POP box using
CRAM-MD5 (Imail 8.15).

The logs from the Kayako side looked fine, up to the part about
authenticating with CRAM-MD5. Other mail servers we tested Kayako against
all worked well, so I didn't think this was an issue on their side.

So ipswitch broke CRAM-MD5 in Imail 2006? I haven't seen any
problems here with pre-2006 (at least not in a long time). A broken
cram-md5 is a MAJOR bug and support burden.
