e-mail services company I work at a
college...
At the college....
We are in the process of removing
SP6a from our servers and going back
to SP5. We have experienced numerous
periods of loss of services since we
installed SP6a on December 28. Files
shares disappear, domain controllers
disappear or do not respond to
user authentication requests, etc...
This is occuring on both Intel servers
and Alpha servers.
Very strange stuff going on....
I cannot get a domain controller to
authenticate a logon but after logging on
using the local profile I can ping the
servers.
We have a support contract with Compaq
for Windows NT support. I have opened
a trouble ticket. I want to know if they
have seen other sites with these problems.
