hi douglas,

good request - web client side (per user) white lists.

what about an option to have your contacts automatically part of the white
list? I can see need to have white list names that are not in your
contacts, but at least all contacts would be auto whitelisted with a single
setting.

any thoughts from others on this feature - at least the option to let your
users/clients have some level of control over their whitelists?

bye for now,

kg

Subject: [IMail Forum] User Managed Whitelists

I would like to see Ipswitch add a new feature to Imail...

User Managed Whitelists via the Web Messaging Interface.

Each user would have the option of creating their own whitelist.

 Aditional options would include...

 - "Default To Mail Service Provider Whitelist"

 - "Default To Domain Whitelist"

 - "Accept Messages Only From E-mail Addresses/Domain Names On My Whitelist"

 - "Keep Rejected Messages In A Folder For xx Days"

-- Give the user the ability to review the folder and accept messages
thus adding the sender to the User Managed Whitelist.

 - "Send Me A Message With A Report Of Rejected Sender Addresses"

-- The User could request the report daily or weekly or ?.

-- A quick scan of the report and the User would know if they need to
login to the Web Messaging Interface and accept a message from a sender or
do nothing and the the messages be deleted by the system.
