Microsoft has unveiled Internet Explorer 7 with a second beta preview that substantially enhances the security of the program.
This new version contains several new tools to prevent "phishing" and enhance security that may cause websites that collect passwords and credit card numbers to be AUTOMATICALLY BLOCKED. They are looking for input from software developers and website creators. The beta release of IE 7, along with white papers and other developer tools, is available for download from the Microsoft website at: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie7/default.mspx. Given some of the problems with Imail 2006 that have been noted in this forum, it may well behoove those who are running the latest Imail product to download and test the latest version of IE 7 as part of the ongoing testing process so we are aware of any potential problems BEFORE we are swamped with additional tech support calls.
