Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] queuemgr problems againKevin, the occurance yesterday occured starting at approx 9.30am; normal Sunday morning loads. Once I had it up late last night, it actually went down again at 2am under a heavy load. Once I took thise 600 messages out of spool, it went fine from there on....I wil be glad to try and load the 3.06 on a secondary server for testing, but I will not place this as my production server as I have already lost too many accounts due the Queuemgr issues I had in June, July, September, December and now yesterday. I cannot afford to keep throwing my customers bones to try out - they pay me to provide what is suppose to be a reliable service.Randy

Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] queuemgr problems againHi Randy,How often is this occurring and has anything been introduced into the environment? Is anything showing up in the logs and does it happen under heavy load (thousands of messages in seconds), low load or randomly?Having said that, we have made changes to QMgr which will be released in IMail 2006.03 and which improves performance QM when under load.Would you be interested in running it early, before official release (scheduled for February).bye for now,kg-----Original Message-----

Subject: [IMail Forum] queuemgr problems againOK - I'm officially fed up and looking to move to a different platform. I finally thought I had this licked, but it is rearing up again.
Our Queuemgr just up'd and stopped again today; still haven't gotten it back up fully. We were on IMail 8.15hf2; dual Xeon 2GB Ram, Win2000, declude 3.x (latest) JMPro, Virus std and HJ, & F-Prot
The issue IS NOT - mail gets processed by Declude fine; it's not being processed by Imail Queuemgr when pla ced back in the spool folder
*I have stopped / restarted all services; no good
*I stopped services, renamed the spool file so I could start from scratch, restarted all and it is hit or miss.
*dns IS NOT the problem - dns runs on the server direct; I have concluded from nslookup that DNS is woking fine. I have even tried to switch DNS to a new server; same thing.
I took the opportunity to upgrade to 8.22 while I am down, thinking this would help. Nope.
It's a d%$& good thing I have a SmarterMail server running for a few test domains so I can still communicate with the group for assistance. The only reason I haven;t switched to SM yet (latest v2) is because as far as I know, SM & declude still do not support AMTP Auth whitelist.
Anyone have any suggestions?
