There was an IMAP vulnerability that was fixed in 8.15, HF2, as I recall.
You really need that upgrade if you have IMAP problems.

Hi!
I'm running 8.05 hf1, and starting this weekend my IMAP has started going
down. Stopping and restarting the service doesn't work- if I do:
telnet 127.0.0.1 143
on the server I get "Could not open a connection to host on port 143 :
Connect failed.
Any suggestions on how to get it restarted (short of rebooting the
server)?
