Yes, you can use it either way. The trick to using the Imail database is to
write a script that will run on the Imail machine and will parse the
directory that you are using to transfer the scripts for the add, suspend
and delete users.
It will also work with the SQL using the same account information. Of course
you will have to either import or enter all of your users email info.
