Yes, the demo looks promising and I'm hoping we see the same performance once deployed.

I still think you need to rethink the cost of the SA's though! Imail secure is worth the $1000 SA but not for Imail alone. The bar has been raised substantially by other products which can remain nameless.

Respectfully,

Bill

hi kurt,

thanks for the comments.

by the way, we demoed 2006.03 today with several performance improvements
that include web messaging. during the demo, we accessed a 1GB folder with
148,000 messages. it took a while to load but once loaded, page scrolling
and reading messages and switching between messages is pretty fast (sub 2 or
1 second).

Definitely don't recommend accessing 1GB folders via web but understand that
this definitely happens.

bye for now,

kg

I am sorry to say and I feel like I may be the only one but we have 2006
running fine.

The webmail is slow but other that that we are having great luck.

We have about
100 user accounts
12- Alias
15 Domains
Premium Filtering
Virus Control

And it works great for this past month

We had a few issues during the installation but Eric at IPSwitch technical
support helped us out and worked out the issues.

SWEEEEEET

I am staying with IPSwitch

We are planning on moving to SmarterMail + Postini when our svc contract is
up.

Anyone considering Declude should read the Declude mailing lists -- starting
to sound like Imail except time-shifted a bit.

With the current state of Imail 2006, I may be right behind you. I have
been a supporter since it rolled out, but ti is getting tough answering the
same questions all of the time. The last talk I had with the boss was to
get it working or else.

When you have your new server up, would you mind sharing some details, maybe
even a test account so that I can see how it runs? I know it's a lot to
ask, but so is finding another job - I am taking the lesser of two evils.

It's been fun running Imail (since 1995) and being on this listserv
(since 2004) but we are moving on. Will be migrating to SmarterMail +
Declude.

Besides purchasing direct from both can anyone recommend a lower cost
vendor like you can do with IMail at CDW?
