Cisco's 2950's are a good switch as well, and less pricey than the
4900's. About 2500.00.

Cisco Catalyst 4900 series are probably the best and fastest you can 
get. They are pricey though. - enhanced ver is like $9k and the reg ver 
is ~$6k. I have 4948's - one of each.   Nice toys at the day job :)
