Ted I did all the suggested steps.. but alas ... I have the same prob... how
can I check if the problem lays on DSN... ?
Any other thoughts?

The error you are seeing is most likely either a permissions issues with
the contacts database, or a problem with your DSN. Find your
workgroupshare\data directory and make sure NETWORK SERVICE (or
equivalent if you are using a non-English version of windows) and make
sure it has Full control of the workgroupshare.mdb. NETWORK SERVICE
should be part of the IIS_WPG group which is granted permissions to the
file, but I have seen cases where permissions had to be granted directly
to the NETWORK SERVICE user.
Yes you can import users from 8.05 to 2006 (2006 will read the users
directly from where ever you have your user information stored, so all
you user information will be kept. It is not really an import because it
just keeps using the user data as is)

I just installed the new imail 2006 demo version in a windows 2003 std
server... it looks ok but in the Iclent web messaging I cannot see the
left window pane (see attached file)
And just one more question can I import users from imail 8.05 to 2006.02
?
